All scanned documents, folders, and associated metadata are stored locally on your device using secure local storage. This data never leaves your device without your explicit action (e.g., when you choose to export, share, or email a document).

When you explicitly use certain features, you may interact with third-party services:

• Email: Uses your device's Mail app; we don't control this data
• AirDrop: Direct peer-to-peer sharing; no server involvement
• Printing: Uses your device's printing services; we don't store documents

You maintain full control over when and how these services are used.

We use anonymous analytics to understand how users interact with the app and improve its performance. This data does not include information about your documents or personal details.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the app and your data. Since your documents are stored locally, you have direct control over their security through your device's built-in security features.

Because Pocket Scan does not collect extensive personal data, you have full control over your information. You can delete the app and all associated data at any time. Your scanned documents remain on your device until you delete them.

Pocket Scan is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the data immediately.
